"Youth are the most talked-about generation in history — and the least listened to."

Everywhere, decisions about climate, technology, education, policy, and the future are made by adults in rooms where young people are not present.

We did not protest that. We built an alternative.

The International Council for Youth Diplomacy was created to give young minds aged 12 and above a real, structured, credible platform — not to vent opinions, but to develop arguments. Not to complain about problems, but to draft solutions.

09 — A Message from the Founder

The reason behind building ICYD is something unique. I have always tried to say that youth matters — youth matters. But where can the youth show their capabilities? They need a platform, and most platforms are limited to a particular area or a particular level of student.

ICYD provides a vast scope for newcomers as well as for youth who are already known for diplomacy. ICYD stands tall among all the conventional platforms.

I always say: there are countless stars in the universe. Likewise, in every individual's universe there are many stars — some near, some far — but each shines brightly in its own way. Yet among them, one star must always exist in every person's universe: the star of youth empowerment, the light that ignites potential and shapes the future. ✨
