The Secretary-General is responsible for the formal governance, administrative records, and procedural integrity of the Council. The Deputy Secretary-General supports the SG and acts in their capacity when required. Both positions are now open for recruitment.
Note: All other senior leadership positions — including Founder & President, Executive Director & Co-Founder, Director General, and Deputy Director General — have already been filled. Only the Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General are open at this level.

Open to all youth aged 12 and above. The Associate Officer is the operational core — working within ICYD's six departments. The Associate Trainee is the foundational entry point. All Head of Department positions have already been filled. Department member (Associate Officer) positions are open.
🏅 Founding Cohort — Class of 2026. Every member who joins ICYD in 2026 — regardless of tier — is permanently recognized as a Founding Member — Class of 2026 — Founding Phase. This title cannot be revoked.
Department workers — the backbone of ICYD operations. Also referred to simply as ICYD Associates. Work within any of the six operational departments, execute programmes, and drive the daily output of the institution. You will be placed in a department based on your skills and preference.

Permanent body · Absolute authority · Not subject to election, term limits, or removal
The supreme and only permanent authority of the Council. Holds absolute executive, constitutional, and institutional authority over all matters of ICYD. Sole authority over all membership decisions and title conferrals. Ratifies all official governing documents.
Tier 2 — Temporary, term-based · Operational leadership over six departments · Position Filled
The second-highest position. Operational leadership over the six departments and the Suspensive Power in the General Assembly. Does not grant authority over the Council's organs, the General Assembly's binding decisions, or the Constitution.
Tier 3 — Senior Leadership · Cross-departmental coordination · Both Positions Filled
Oversees day-to-day operational flow under direct authority of the Founder & President. Primary coordination point between departments and organs — as a peer coordinator, not a superior. Does not hold command authority over Organ Directors.
Tier 4 — Senior Officer · Formal governance & procedural integrity · Both positions open
Responsible for the formal governance, administrative records, and procedural integrity of the Council. Manages the General Assembly proceedings, official documentation, correspondence, and institutional records of ICYD. Liaises with Organ Directors for formal records only.
Supports the Secretary-General in all governance responsibilities and acts in the SG's capacity when required. A senior officer within ICYD's governance body.
